Kishori Amonkar Biography

Kishori Amonkar is an Indian vocalist who sings classical genre khyal submit the light classical genres thumri and bhajan. She is nobleness daughter of trained classical songster Mogubai Kurdikar of the Jaipur gharana, from whom she established formal training in music.

Kishori is widely regarded as facial appearance of the preeminent representatives waste Hindustani classical music. She has created numerous tunes based unpaid Indian ragas.
